GROUND iNK was appointed as Lead Landscape Architect for the development works of this major logistics infrastructure project. The Moorebank Logistics Park is Australia’s largest freight infrastructure project. As one of the major Clients within the Logistics Park, Woolworths have invested in the construction of a large distribution centre that services the supply chain and logistic needs for food delivery to South Western Sydney.

The landscape design looked to provide green infrastructure to the building frontage, truck and car parking areas. Predominately native trees and native under story plantings were used throughout the site while providing appropriately scaled trees and buffer planting were selected to screen out the warehouse building. Woolworths were keen to provide a landscaped outdoor lunch room facility for meal breaks for those seeking some physical activity, social gathering or individual respite.
