GROUND iNK was appointed as Lead Landscape Architect for the development works of this major logistics infrastructure project. The Moorebank Logistics Park is Australia’s largest freight infrastructure project. As one of the major Clients within the Logistics Park, Woolworths have invested in the construction of a large distribution centre that services the supply chain and logistic needs for food delivery to South Western Sydney.

The landscape design looked to provide green infrastructure to the building frontage, truck and car parking areas. Native trees and under story plantings connected the main enterance of the site while providing appropriately scaled buffer planting to screen out the warehouse building. Workers were not forgotten as Woolworths were keen to provide and outdoor lunch room for meal breaks and a half court for those seeking some extra physical activity.
