GROUND iNK was commissioned in 2017 to prepared the landscape design and documentation for this significant new school performance HUB project for St. Marks Catholic College. The project represents a state of the art performance facility founded on modern pedagogical principles. A series of landscape and function spaces were developed to the forecourt plaza of the new performance centre based on strong design principles that create a series of separate and interconnected spaces.

The landscape design language allows for a cohesive interface between the new building works and compliments the existing fabric of the campus while adding colour and texture. The result is a vibrant, engaging plaza space that provides flexibility for large-scale events, social interaction and outdoor learning opportunities.
