As the lead Landscape Architects, GROUND iNK worked closely with the schools project team and were involved in the planning, design, documentation and construction of St. Luke’s College early learning centre in Marsden Park.

The scope of works included designs for an outdoor classroom learning environment and associated external play spaces. Our design response focuses on age-appropriate design and is a mix of natural materials and playful elements that encourages learning through exploration. The outdoor learning space include a sequence of softfall area for safe outdoor learning through play, texture and social inclusion. This project explores the opportunities of outdoor adventure play as an essential ingredient for both cognitive and experiential learning.
