GROUND iNK was appointed as Lead Landscape Architect for the design of this lifestyle focused residential development within Sydney’s northern beaches. The strategy for the mixed-use development is to provide Dee Why with a lifestyle driven apartment complex. Set adjacent to the Stony Range Botanic Garden, the intention for the development is to create a new area of landscaping within substantial landscaped building setbacks and internal courtyards featuring native trees, palms and communal spaces intended to soften the visual impact of the new development and to provide occupants with high quality amenities befitting the beach side character.
Collaborating with DKO Architects, the GROUND iNK team developed a vibrant and contemporary landscape treatment for this high density residential project on Sydney’s northern beaches gateway. The landscape design celebrates the surrounding natural setting of established native trees and compliments this native tree context by introducing landmark palms to the internal courtyards of the site.
