GROUND iNK was commissioned by Marchese Partners as Landscape Architect’s for this 158 apartment development located on a challenging sloping site in Eastwood. The studio was responsible for producing the initial concept designs, DA submission and construction documentation for this large scale residential development.

Collaborating with Marchese Partners, the GROUND iNK team was challenged by the client to transform this degraded sloping site into a densely planted landscape embankment with strong visual appeal while respecting the commanding views from the elevated site. Intimate planting was provided to the internal ground floor garden apartments and communal spaces based around a predominately shade tolerant and textural planting palette.

The landscape treatment also focused on reinforcing the local site character and by softening a street presence dominated by the large architectural forms.
