GROUND iNK design studio collaborated with Bilj Architects on this award winning alterations and additions project in the village of Kirribilli. Delivering tranquil water views over Careening Cove from the two separate dwellings, this elegant harbourside escape was designed to capture magnificent north eastern sun to the rear gardens and living areas while retaining the charm of the early 1900’s period facade.

GROUND iNK Landscape Architects were commissioned to create an external planting palette for this striking period home and two storey contemporary alteration in oneof Sydney’s most prestigious neighbouroods. The Client requested a low maintenance, yet distinctive planting design that would accentuate the early 1900 architectural style of the original house frontage. A complete transformation was required in order to take full advantage of the spectacular panorama of Careening Cove and the wonderful northerly aspect. Subtle, but striking planting was incorporated so not impead the breathtaking water views enjoyed from both rear levels, as well as the large rear patio and yard.
