GROUND iNK has been appointed as the Lead Landscape Architect for the redevelopment of Campbelltown Hospital, a significant project within the health sector. Employing the principles of therapeutic design, GROUND iNK has meticulously integrated various landscape features across the hospital grounds, aligning them with the site's functional requirements. Attention to detail has been given to factors such as color palettes, material choices, and the arrangement of physical elements within the landscape. Our overarching design philosophy aims to create spaces that offer both communal gathering areas and secluded spots, providing visitors with a distinctive and memorable experience while supporting patient well-being through opportunities for healing, contemplation, and relaxation.

Building on our past experiences collaborating with indigenous communities, we have engaged closely with local stakeholders to ensure that the designs for Campbelltown Hospital resonate with the site's indigenous cultural heritage. This collaborative effort involved working alongside the Australian Botanic Gardens, Mount Annan, and local Aboriginal Elders to develop signature landscape elements for this expansive hospital redevelopment. These elements include the integration of a culturally significant Healing Circle and the strategic planting of indigenous trees, contributing to the cultural richness of the site.
