GROUND iNK were engaged by Paynter Dixon Constructions as Landscape Architect to deliver on Phase 1 of the overall site master plan DA previously prepared by the client. Our studio was responsible for the detailed design of the Phase 1 works which included a new grandstand, public plaza and associated car parking. We were then engaged to provide construction review services to complete the public domain space.

Collaborating with AJ+C, the GROUND iNK team developed the design centered around the client’s desire to create an easily activated, multi-functional civic space that would compliment the adjoining sporting fields and new grandstand facility. The materials chosen include, both sandstone logs and concrete block walls, charcoal/grey unit paving with porphyry setts and metal linear bench seating. A bespoke structure in combination with BBQ facility and mature trees provides the required shade amenity.
