Through a design competition, GROUND iNK was appointed as Lead Landscape Architect to prepare two SSDA submissions for Aqualand Prestige’s multi residential development in Roseville. Set within Blue Gum High Forest biodiversity area, the developments will form part of the NSW Government’s Transport Oriented Development at Roseville Station with access to key transport links and business districts.

While navigating the challenging topography, connecting and strengthening the site’s rich biodiversity and celebrating the surburb’s character, the landscape design was informed by a Design with Country approach. This enabled the Landscape team to deliver a response within substantial landscaped building setbacks featuring large native trees and planting intended to soften the visual impact of the new developments whilst protecting the existing residential character.
